The first book I read was AUXILIUM IN VIA – ORIGINS. Firstly, I love how the details are very easy to visualize. This is great in helping younger children enhance their abilities to critically comprehend texts. I really enjoyed the positive themes and ongoing messages of doing what is right throughout the book. I think that if a kid was reading this book, they might reflect the good behaviors that the characters, such as Niño, portray. The storyline is easy to follow and not to difficult to understand. I firmly believe that a young child has a better chance of remembering and truly understand a story with a clear plot, rather than one with a more complex tale.
The second book I read was THE Adventures Of Mary The
Mystical Girl – BOOK 1. After reading book along with AUXILIUM IN VIA – ORIGINS, I appreciate his efforts in applying modern world dilemmas and stereotypes into the story. The way that he takes these world wide issues and simplifies them better for younger kids to understand, along with offering a positive solution to them is genius. I can just imagine if I was a younger kid taking CC classes along with going to church, that having captivating stories like these would definitely make the learning of our religion more enjoyable and understandable.
All in all, I truly admire his effort to use the problems of today's society in his stories, his likeable and interesting characters, and lastly, and his uncomplicated stories!
